This Saturday at Trophy Motorcycles: A Vintage Bike Night, a New Mural, a Neighborhood Surf Band, and More

When one of Trophy Motorcycle's owners, Isaac Heinrich, asked if the 105ers would play at their upcoming Vintage Bike Night, I was all over it. I love his business and the new Jonny Alexander mural adorning its wall. I love the two next door businesses (Pack Ratt Records and Puss in Boots Vintage). I love the neighborhood in which all these things reside, and I love playing with the 105ers. That's a lot of love, so this one's a no-brainer.

As you can see in the poster above, the event starts at 4:00 on Saturday, April 4, and the music starts at 6:00. This marks the second appearance of our little City Heights supergroup, which features Mick Rossler (Tower Bar, Til Two Club) on guitar, Matt Parker (Black Cat Bar) on bass, and Yours Truly slapping skins.  We'll be bringing your our very own gritty Mid-City versions of surf classics by the likes of the Ventures, Link Wray, the Tornados, and others.

Looking forward to seeing a several friendly faces for an afternoon and evening of fun. Thanks, as always, for tuning in!
