Two Wolves Had a Howlin' Good Time at Shakedown Bar

It's not often that Two Wolves howl during the day, but that's exactly what we did this Sunday. It's always fun - and a privilege - to keep a rockin', steady beat behind Stephen Rey, and Gabriel Sundy's sax skills lend something really special to the mix.

Today's event at Shakedown was extra  cool, with lots of friends in attendance. Not only is Brian Karscig the man behind of one of my personal favorite San Diego bands, The Nervous Wreckords (Their most recent effort, "Let Them All Talk," is one of my favorite CDs), it turns out he's a good DJ as well! Shake Before Us was ready to hit the stage as soon as we finished howlin', and Tim Mays was on the turntables at that point, ensuring a smooth (yet rocking) transition.

I spotted Tim Lowman, a.k.a. Low Volts in the crowd, the vibe was really positive all around, and made extra cool with the bikes out front and the classic cars in the back. Looking forward to howlin' at Shakedown again soon!
