Creative Audio Laboratory is the new project of Anders Michael and is produced by Jason Falkner. The lead vocalist and songwriter in CAL, Anders is a name hitherto recognized in underground music circles through his drumming and collaborations with Gary Wilson, R. Stevie Moore, Javier Escovedo, and many others. Creative Audio Laboratory marks his debut stepping out from behind the drum kit to sing his own material.

The “Eggshells” music video has won awards from several film festivals, including Luleå International Film Festival, Feel the Reel International Film Festival, Robinson Film Awards International Film Festival, Hollywood Gold Awards, London Movie Awards, and more.

The “You Don’t Need a Reason” video has won several awards in 2022, including Best Music Video at Los Angeles Movie Awards, New York Independent Cinema Awards, and San Diego Art Film Fest. The video also won the Audience Award at Los Angeles Movie Awards, honorable mentions at Hollywood Gold Awards and Toronto Indie Shorts, and was a semi-finalist at the Tokyo Shorts festival. “You Don’t Need a Reason” is also an official selection at the Swedish International Film Fest and Stockholm City Film Festival.
